Ronnie and Quyen had a Vietnamese wedding with American fusion details in South Florida. We loved being there for their extravaganza! With 3 wardrobe changes, a 7-course gourmet Vietnamese dinner and surprises all day, guests received the royal treatment!
Vietnamese Wedding with American Fusion
February 4, 2018ย | ย Quyen and Ronnie
When I initially met with Quyen, I knew we’d be a great match! She has a calm and relaxed demeanor, but knows exactly what she wants and is fantastic at communicating that! Even more importantly, she trusted me to make her wedding day run smoothly so they could enjoy the process! Although it would be my first Vietnamese tea ceremony – and my first wedding with over 700 guests – Quyen was amazing at letting us know what to expect!
When I met Ronnie at our bridal session the month before their wedding, I completely understood why they were such a perfect match! Ronnie is the relax to Quyen’s excitement. I feel like he helps her enjoy the little things in life. Together, they’ve traveled the world and experienced so many amazing cultures together. They took their engagement photos at the stunning Banff National Park in Canada, and took trips to islands and countries many of us could only dream about!
Their wedding day was just as much of an event – Lacey, Cat and I spent 15 hours between 5 venues capturing their day! It started bright and early at a hotel in Fort Lauderdale for preparations for the Tea Ceremony. Then, we all traveled to Quyen’s parent’s house for their traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony. Quyen wore a stunning red รo dร i (traditional Vietnamese wedding attire). Following the Tea Ceremony, we drove about an hour south to the luxurious Hyde Hotel. There, the bridal party got ready in their American attire. Before changing in to her incredible Ines di Santo gown,ย Quyen took a few photos in a whiteย รo dร i! Their ceremony was a traditional Catholic Vietnamese ceremony and then we headed to the Milander Center for their reception! A confetti introduction was followed by a 7-course gourmet dinner and then a night of dancing!
We are so in love with this wedding day and thrilled to be sharing it with everyone!
