Erin and Thomas got married at The Vault in downtown Tampa, FL! This was sort of a family reunion because we had the honor of photographing the bride’s brother’s wedding at the Hammock Beach Resort three months prior! It was so fun to see their day unfold.
The Vault
The Vault is a gorgeous venue located in the heart of Tampa. It’s neoclassical-inspired architecture and versatile spaces gave Erin and Thomas the perfect slate to visualize their dream wedding. With 35-foot tall ceilings and beautiful natural light, their ceremony was one of our favorite indoor ceremony spots to photograph.
Details
Erin exudes elegance with her profound taste for minimal and classic designs. They crafted their wedding with meticulous attention to detail, right down to their invitations. The timeless, modern invites gave guests a sneak peek at what’s to come. Erin wore a chic satin gown that featured sophisticated clean lines and a tulle overlay around her bust and waist area. As she walked down the aisle her train gracefully followed. The subtle detail on her gown and a simple drop earring was the most gorgeous look on Erin. Her hair, styled in a simple chignon, complements the understated beauty of her attire, allowing her radiant smile and confidence to be the focal point of her bridal ensemble. Erin’s choice reflects her discerning taste and appreciation for timeless elegance on her special day.
Middle School Heartthrob
Erin and Thomas ironically met back in middle school after they both moved to Florida from out of state. They went on with their separate lives all the way up until college where fate brought them together for a second time at Florida State University. Bonding over travel, sporting events, and cheering on one of their favorite teams (Go Noles!) they decided to start dating!
There’s a familiar face or two in this photo! About five months ago we had the honor of photographing Amanda and Adam’s coastal wedding at the Hammock Beach Resort. Now, standing by Erin and Thomas on their special day! They kept it classic with matching bridesmaid dresses and light grey suits for the guys.
Cocktail Hour at The Vault in Tampa
Celebrating with friends and family was one of the things Erin and Thomas were looking forward to the most. Guests came from near and far to celebrate the couple’s special bond. After the ceremony, they gathered in the courtyard at The Vault to catch up with loved ones.

Reception Details
Their details were stark white letting the silky green napkins and floral centerpieces do all the talking! I loved the simplicity of everything and how she didn’t overthink what was truly important to them as a couple.
City Lights and Taxi rides
As the day went on, the city lights were on and cars passed through on a mission to get to their destination. One photo in particular (the photo below) reminds me of time in a silly way. The wedding party stands there, waiting for their picture to be taken when a bright taxi drives through just as the shot is taken. It reminds me that sometimes we have to slow down and take in precious moments. This life flies by and we can often get caught up in the fast pace, especially on a wedding day! But the night goes on and I think everyone ceased the moments. Not even a dirty dress could stop them from having fun!
