I first met Brittany and Bobby on my trip to Washington DC for their engagement session. They were kind and super in love! Bobby is an architect whose company worked on the Swan Reserve so I knew architecture and design would play a huge role in their wedding day. Nonetheless, their subtle details are what brought their fashion-forward wedding together! Each element I saw got me excited to see more! Their stationery was simple yet modern and fun. We included Brittany’s bridal details such as her cute pearl clutch, lipstick, and Parfums de Marly perfume!
As it got closer to the ceremony, Brittany and Bobby simultaneously got ready. Brittany stepped into her KWH Bridal gown with the help of her mother and maid of honor. It was breathtaking! I have never seen anything like this in my six years in the industry. It’s also multifunctional with removable pieces. Bobby buttoned up his classic navy suit and tightened his light blue tie. Now, I know you may be confused about the random guy hanging outside the window. Well, apparently it was window cleaning day, and just as Brittany was about to get dressed two guys came down out of nowhere. That moment definitely helped minimize any nerves!
Their ceremony was in the Swan Reserve ballroom and later flipped into their reception space. During the reception, they opened all the shades to let the sunset shine through and go into the night.
One of the first desserts Brittany made Bobby was a carrot cake so for their wedding they had a modern three-tier carrot cake to resemble their story!
Later that night, Brittany changed into her party dress and enjoyed the night dancing with guests and getting a free fireworks show from the views of Orlando. Once the party ended another party began downstairs in the hotel bar! I think it’s safe to say everyone had a great time! Whitney and I couldn’t have had a better time ourselves!
