When I say that I met some of the most amazing people at Lindsey and Chad’s May wedding, I wouldn’t even come close to exaggerating. Since it was my first time meeting Lindsey and Chad, and their friends and family – some of whom are photographers themselves – I was a little nervous on my drive up to St. Augustine for their wedding! But a text from Lindsey, with this bubbly-several exclamation-mark-excitement, totally put me at ease. She was an absolute doll! You know those people that just radiate positive energy and are genuinely happy about everything? That was Lindsey. Her and her bridesmaids made us feel like one of the girls, excitedly jumping around and trying to move couches bolted to the floor.
Then we drove down the street to the Santa Monica hotel, where we met Chad and his guys!
After absolutely dying over the ring-bearer and his lady-skills, we pulled them out in the Florida heat for some formals before they headed off to the venue. I think my favorite thing about Chad was how much he absolutely loves Lindsey. He dotes over her, but more importantly – as much as I loved working with each of them individually, I could tell how complete they became when they were together.
It’s like something just makes sense with them.
I wish I could explain it more coherently, but I’m hoping their family and friends reading this know exactly what I’m talking about!
To Lindsey and Chad: I know it was a tough decision to bring in a photographer that you’ve never even met when you have so many great ones in the family, but I so appreciate spending this day with you and everyone closest to you – and I can’t wait to see what the future brings!ย :) You’re such a beautiful couple, and I wish you years and years of beautiful memories!
