I’ve known Lesley since I was 9. Yeah, about 22 years now. Actually, I’ve known her longer than my own little sister! And in those 22 years, we’ve had quite the journey. From grand plans of starting our own super-stardom enterprise (I’d be the next Paula Abdul and she’d be my fashion designer), to every day life laying around on my couch and complaining about homework – we’ve been through it all. Bad 90’s hair, annoying siblings, even more annoying parents (isn’t everyone annoying to you when you’re in middle school?), parties, dating, college and now jobs… I’m almost overwhelmed just trying to pick things to talk about when it comes to me and her! I even named my 2 cats after us (Marina and Mirella – after our escapades in senior-year Italian class). We were inseparable for much of our childhood.

Life has taken us in different directions and different parts of the country – but I always know that Lesley’s got my back (she’s the best wingman ever) and I’ll always have hers (although I’m not as good of a wingman unfortunately. I got the better end of that deal :)) Lesley was always my voice of reason in my chaotic world of spontaneity.ย  She helped me grow up. Always encouraging; always lending an ear… she always knew exactly the right advice, that I usually never took.

Seeing Lesley on her wedding day was like spinning through 22 years of memories. She has never, and I mean never, looked more radiant than that very day (which also happened to be her birthday!). I am so gushingly proud of the woman she’s become and so happy that her and Jason have found each other.

I’m not really sure how you can repay someone for a lifetime of friendship – but being a part of her wedding was one of the most important responsibilities I’ve had as her friend. So I hope that she fondly remembers how much I love her, and that I taught her how to wobble.

BFF ae ae ae ae <3

Lesley doesn’t go anywhere without Smurfette. So she dressed her up and took her to the wedding!
Of course, she just kind of hung out in the back room… but at least she was there!

Lesley surprised Jason with a rare, limited edition Coach wallet from the Men’s Collection – made from vintage leather baseball gloves.
Only a few hundred had ever been made, and she had told Jason that even she couldn’t get her hands on one!

Lesley and Jason’s first look was so sweet!

Lesley and her dad did a First Look, too :)

I grew up practically living at Lesley’s house since I was 9 – so it was such a great day to share with her family! So happy I could be a part of it :)

Are you wondering where the Ring Bearer is? He’s there….
