I’m not entirely sure how to adequately describe Kristine and Kyle. When I went to their wedding, it was actually my first time meeting them. Kristine greets you with the most bubbly laughter and a huge hug – she just makes you feel like you’ve been part of her family forever…. like you’ve known her your entire life. I absolutely LOVE brides like her – she makes what we do so rewarding and her energy is absolutely infectious. Kyle and his guys were laid back and fun, and you could tell how much he adores Kristine and how important they are to each other. Every moment of the day made us smile – from the hugs and kisses, to the fun bridal party portraits and their rockin’ reception (if you know me, you know how much I LOVE drummers at weddings… it’s like this weird obsession I have….)
Kristine and Kyle met as freshmen in college – Kyle was immediately drawn to her fun, spunky personality and Kristine was enamoured withย the way he made her laugh. Their connection was immediate and they knew right away – well, at least Kyle did! The night they met, his told his friends he would marry her one day… and here we are!
After a romantic picnic proposal in Central Park, Kyle and Kristine planned their beautiful day at the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts. They went for a very classic approach with black bridesmaids gowns, black and gray tuxesย andย gold accents in their reception decor and stationery.
One of my favorite parts of the day was definitely when they brought a fire truck to the formal photos for the bridal party! Kyle is a firefighter and it was so fun to incorporate something so special to them! Their dusk portraits on the bay were some of my favorites from this year – and I loved bringing Kristine sushi in the bathroom when she was hungry :)
Their party was incredible – complete with DJ and drummer playing all the best songs of the moment – tons of dancing and laughter – it was absolutely perfect!
Kristine and Kyle left for their amazing honeymoon in beautiful St. Lucia a few days after their wedding. (I facebook stalked all their gorgeous honeymoon posts!)
