Romantic and Classic Catholic Wedding

Sonia and L.J.’s wedding was a huge, family affair! I love a big Catholic wedding and I knew, from the second I arrived at Sonia’s house, that this was going to be a fun one! Sonia decided to get ready at her parent’s house with all of her bridesmaids, aunts, uncles and cousins. The house was full of laughter, chatter and excitement. L.J. and his family got ready at The Vinoy before heading to Safety Harbor for their ceremony.
Speed dating
My favorite part of Sonia and L.J.’s story is that they met speed dating! Completely by coincidence, Sonia almost ditched the event and (dare I say) got guilted in to returning. When she sat down with L.J. they instantly clicked and the rest is speed-dating history!
I may be wrong, but I *think* they’re my very first speed dating couple! So that’s pretty exciting!
The wedding day
Having 250 guests can be a bit overwhelming, so Sonia and L.J. chose the Renaissance Vinoy in St. Pete to accommodate their entire guest list comfortably! The ballroom was set with blush and gold details, and some really special pieces! The menus were placed on each table in clear acrylic with calligraphy. And I loved the stunning floral arch that was set over the sweetheart table for the bride and groom!
Following the wedding, Sonia and L.J. hopped a flight to Hawaii for a relaxing honeymoon!
