College sweethearts, Naomi and Ryan, originally met in the library at UF – but it wasn’t until a social gathering with friends showed Ryan that he needed to ask Naomi out on a date! After a few years together, a vacation in Thailand was the perfect location to propose. After a day at the Elephant sanctuary, massages and a walk along the beach, Ryan proposed at sunset with a photographer hidden to capture every sweet moment! When it was time to plan the wedding, I was absolutely thrilled to be involved! I had actually met Naomi, her mother and sister, several years ago for graduation photos! So it was an immense honor to be asked to photograph her wedding day as well!
Fashion-forward and Chic
Naomi and Ryan pulled out all the stops when it came to a wedding that was uniquely them. From an editorial style to a modern-vintage fashion, they chose elements that felt perfect for their own styles. Naomi’s gown was truly unique – a creation from Kim Kassas Couture; while Ryan chose a stunning white tux jacket and classic black details.
Their decor was simple and chic – and their wedding party wore champagne gowns and black tuxes! A notable favorite was their vintage wedding cake from Sugar Sugar!
Check out their full gallery, which is a combination of stunning black and white photos along with 35mm film! Some of my favorites from the year for certain!
