Ashlei and Joe’s wedding was “Facebook Famous” from the minute I stepped in to their elegant reception at the Biltmore in Coral Gables. From the beginning of the day until the wee hours of the morning, The Rutland’s were sprinkled in sequins, laughter and lots of love! Not a detail out of place, Ashlei labored over her dream wedding while also attending law school full time!
Cocktail in hand, and Joe napping, Ashlei spent the afternoon with her girls primping for her evening wedding (a’la Hilary Duff). She was a dream to work with on her wedding day! Calm, collected and always making sure everyone else was relaxed. She’s the epitome of the perfect hostess, even at her own wedding! Joe and his guys were so easy-going and I don’t think I’ve ever seen Joe smile bigger than when Ashlei walked down the aisle!
And not to dimish any of the stunning moments throughout the day, the reception sparkled and glowed in a beautiful room wash of amber uplighting, candles, gold sequin linens and elegant white orchids, tulips and roses. Michael Sarz gave the party an amazing club feel – no one left the dance floor the entire night and Krista, Rachel and I got to bee-bop around with their dancing guests!
What an amazing day, with the most amazing people! Specifically, I was thrilled to share this gorgeous event with some of the more sought-after vendors in South Florida!

In “the drop heard ’round the world, Ashlei actually sent Joe’s wedding band flying down the stairs and straight for me! Luckily an agile groomsman caught it mid-roll!
