Pink and green spring wedding

Every once in awhile I have to nickname my clients. “Senator” just seemed fitting for Joe – who was one of my most favorite dapper, sarcastic and witty grooms to date! This Alfond Inn wedding was one of my favorites, too – using the gorgeous lawn and backdrop of the conservatory for their ceremony, bright pink and green springtime color palette and a super chill bride who never stopped smiling!
Although the massive amount of wind had us a little breezy prior to the ceremony, and a freak rain cloud joined us for approximately 2.3 minutes – the ceremony was sunny and bright! The team at Lee James partnered with Brandee Gaar to create a beautiful arch that was repurposed for their cake table, and made us all smile with their bright fushia bouquets!
Christina looked absolutely regal wearing Pronovias and a curly upswept hair with a delicate crystal headband.
Their proposal story is one of my favorites, too! Joe took Christina on a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon – but she suspected it to be a little too “bachelor-esque” for this laid-back couple. The next day, Joe took Christina to lunch.
“We get in the car, he reached into the middle console and pulled out the ring! So after all that, we got engaged sitting in a parking lot in Flagstaff, Arizona! Not the most romantic of proposals, but definitely very ‘us.’”
Now, I proudly present their beautiful wedding day!

Christina wore these stunning emerald and gold vintage earrings that were her grandmother’s! I love family heirlooms being incorporated in to the details of a wedding day!
Christina’s mom has carried around these Baby scissors in her purse since Christina’s brother was born! When Christinaย needed a pair – she proudly pulled them out for her!
This low-key couple also hates PDA… so we had some fun with them! I love a couple who can laugh together!
Wedding dresses with pockets are LIFE.
