Newborn Lifestyle Session
From their engagement session, to their wedding, and now welcoming their first baby – Ashley and Marc have a seriously special place in my heart. It’s such a weird feeling to see my couples become parents. Totally not in a bad way – but in this way where you’re so happy for them and feel like you’ve had a small part in their journey. I know that it’s hard for my non-Orlando clients to always consider me for their portraits – but I’m always so honored when they do. And when Ashley and Marc invited me in to their home for this sweet session with Josie, I was ecstatic.
And I’m not sure I could have been in any cuter of a space! Josie’s room is absolute girly perfection with taupe and pink walls, woodland creatures and hand-made animal swings (crafted by her daddy). Foxes and deer and raccoons hang lovingly over her and keep watch on their tiny baby girl.
But the scene-stealer was Brew. This furry cat will always be Ashley and Marc’s first “born” – but he’s learning how to handle the attention Josie has managed to grab.
We tried (really hard) to get Brew in a few pics – but … well…. keep scrolling and you’ll see how that worked out.

I’m actually going to start with a few favorites from their Fort DeSoto beach maternity session, since I haven’t blogged those yet!
And now on to their newborn session in their home in St. Pete to welcome Josie’s arrival!
