Stephanie met up with Haley, Alec and their golden retriever Ollie at Lake Louisa for their engagement session. When our couples book, we like to ask them a few questions about their relationship! I loved their answers, so I’m going to share them below!
I can’t wait for their wedding at The Dr. Phillips Center in March, and especially to work with one of our all-time favorites, Lisa Lyons!
What do you love most about your fiance?What I love most about him is his positive outlook on every day. He always gives me the best reminders of how blessed we are and to live in the present. He really is my rock and someone I can go to for anything I need. What I love most about Haley is her kind and loving personality. Being around inspires me to do better and to be an overall better person. Her smile is a constant reminder of how loving and caring she is.
How would you describe yourselves as a couple? And, tell us what you love to do together! We love to travel and explore new places. We plan trips and make absolutely no agenda until we get to the place we’re going. We also love to hike, golf, and try new food. We also love to spend time at home with our sweet golden retriever, named Ollie. When we are home we like to spend time working on our house, going for walks, and having friends over for a fire in our backyard.
Let’s hear all about the proposal! I had absolutely no idea it was coming! We had planned a trip up to North Carolina to spend a week with Alec’s family prior to Thanksgiving. We went for a hike that morning and Alec had told me we were going to dinner with his parents at the country club. We got all dressed up and were going to have drinks by this fire pit on a mountain prior to dinner. Then Alec had me walk over to “look at something” and proposed right there in front of his family. I then hear cheering from the side and see my parents run out as well. I had no idea they were there. We were able to spend the rest of the week with our families spending time together and celebrating.
What are you the most excited about for your wedding day? We are most excited to bring our family and friends to downtown Orlando to see where Alec and I started our lives together. We are so lucky to have the best support system and I think we are really excited to celebrate our love for each other with the people we love most. Alec says…seeing Haley in her wedding dress. :)
