The story of how Erika and Anthony met is one of my favorites and explains exactly why their wedding day felt so special to document. During the peak of COVID, Erika graduated with a bachelor’s in marine biology and was struggling to find a job in her field. Anthony was in school at the University of Tennessee, but decided to come home to pursue a career in professional golf. Almost like fate, Erika started working in the same golf department. Two weeks after starting and not knowing a single thing about golf, she met Anthony’s parents, who eventually introduced the two of them. They began to talk more on the course and he would stay after work to teach her how to properly play golf. Over time, they began to go on dates and quickly realized how much they enjoyed each other’s company. They officially started to date in October 2020 and have been inseparable since. Erika describes how thankful she is for the universe to intervene and bring Anthony in her life as it was very much unlikely of circumstances.

Surprise Performance by Broadway Star John Lloyd Young

For Erika and Anthony’s special day, it was filled with personalized details, breathtaking moments, and complete shock factors, especially with a surprise performance by John Lloyd Young. Throughout the day, everything reflected a perfect balance of crisp lines and softness. They chose a more modern look when deciding on reception styles, beautifully complementing the abundance of neutral florals and delicate pearly white draping. One of the crowd favorites and our own was the surprise visit of John Lloyd Young – original member of the Broadway show Jersey Boys, who brought everyone up and singing along and the couple in complete awe.
