New York Bridal Fashion Week
A few weeks ago I hit the streets of New York City to tag along with the Solutions Bridal team at the 2016 New York Bridal Week! I love working with the Solutions team, so it was awesome to share this trip with them. It’s exciting to be around women who have a serious passion for bridal design and who are consistently searching for the latest trends to take back to Orlando with them. Talk about bringing the East Coast down South! Between Starbucks runs and private viewings we had a jam packed schedule, but each day was filled with inspiration and beauty.
I’m curious to see if any of my KWP brides are adventurous enough to try one of these jaw-dropping gowns!
Whether it was Sareh Nouri’s lacy feminine gowns, Romona Keveza’s show-stopping floral design, the luxurious styles of Oscar de la Renta, or Ines Di Santo’s daring hi-lo design, I was in serious awe the entire time. I noticed a few trends this year; there was some serious skin being shown by Ines Di Santo, but was done in a way that was elegant and perfectly tasteful. Marchesa incorporated a mix of embroidery and baroque details onto modern silhouettes. And of course, it was great to see Maria Elena again; her elaborate pieces are more and more elegant each year and are perfect for the vintage bride. Until next time, New York!
We started our trip out with Sareh Nouri
One of my favorites were the designs from Lela Rose. And their showroom? To die for!
Tali and I were off to Romona Keveza‘s private NYC showroom in Rockefeller Center!
Day 2 started with the whole team from Solutions and their Starbucks!
Our first top was the Pier for Erin Cole veils and jewelry, and then Marisa!
One of my favorites was going to the Marchesa showroom for a private appointment to see their new collection!
Anna Maier invited us to their showroom, which was still set up from the runway the day before!
Maria Elena had some stunning new pieces, including a beautiful new editorial line!
Then it was off to Ines di Santo! Always one of our favorite appointments of market!
Oscar de la Renta had a beautifully classic collection this season!
