The past six months as an intern for Kristen Weaver Photography have been nothing short of wonderful.
Through this program, I’ve learned more than any class could ever teach me and this has been an experience that I will carry with me throughout the rest of my career.
Working with such a diverse group of creative people is so inspiring and motivating. I absolutely adore the little team and family that KWP had become over the past six months and I can honestly say that there was never a time where I wasn’t having fun with everyone. To Gabe, Lacey, Erin, and Priscilla, thank you for making this experience full of laughter and excitement.
I have learned so much from working with every one of you guys and I couldn’t have asked for better coworkers.
Kristen, thank you for being the greatest boss and mentor a girl could ask for. I have been completely inspired by watching you run Kristen Weaver Photography and doing what you love with such passion. As an aspiring wedding professional and business owner, everything you’ve taught us and every piece of advice you’ve given has meant so much to me and will be the foundation that I build my business on one day.
From the beginning of this program, us interns knew we were going be putting together our own inspiration shoot. Although I know a quite a bit about weddings, this was such a great way to get to know some of the most talented vendors in Florida and learn how to create a vision that is completely unique. This was probably one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and I have been so inspired by this project.
Life After The KWP Internship
I am so happy to announce that I have started an internship with fashion stylist, Melanie Pace! Although I really miss the KWP family, I am excited to see what this new adventure has in store. The fashion industry is something that is pretty new to me, but I’m ready to learn some new tricks!
