We’re finally slowing down a little bit after 10 months of “busy season” and looking towards a really bright future! We’re days away from signing the lease on our very own loft studio and office (and we’ll be spending the first year with our dear friends from An Affair to Remember there!) in downtown Lake Mary! I couldn’t be more excited to start opening up more studio sessions, too. I can see a lot of couples starting their wedding journeys with us there, so it’s going to be time to pop some champagne and celebrate soon!
In the meantime, we’ll be combining a few of our busy and slower weeks in our Keeping up with KWP posts – so let’s start with the past 2 weeks in January!
Tuesday, January 20: Our week started off with two beautiful make-up artists from Beaute Speciale in Orlando. After turning up the Beyonce playlist and placing the fan at the perfect angle, hair and makeup artist Alyssa’s beautiful curls framed her face perfectly allowing for flawless head shots. Then Olivia, their newest office associate, brought Britney Spears back and also looked fantastic for her head shots!
In the evening, Krista joined Michelle, Matt and their daughter (2 yr old Guiliana) for a mini-session over at Baldwin Park. Michelle and Matt have been long-time KWP clients – Kristen photographed their engagement and wedding, and they did a beautiful underwater session in a series we did with Kristen and our associate, Stacy!
Wednesday, January 21: Continuing on with studio work, we had a different model to work with who was just too cute to handle. Bowie, who is almost 2, looks so adorable in her portraits! We wanted to match her big sister’s shoot awhile back (actually, where mom and dad shared with them that they were pregnant with Bowie!) Here are a few sneak peeks at her session.
Saturday, January 24: Krista was out at Rollins College for Nick and Jennifer’s wedding. Their ceremony was at the Knowles Chapel and then celebrated their reception at the Winter Park Country Club. We especially loved their taste in getaway cars – they joined their reception with a ride in a bride new Corvette!
Saturday, January 24: Kristen and Stephanie joined Emily, RC and their friends and family for a Gatsby styled wedding day! Emily styled her gown with a beautiful art-deco headpiece and cuff bracelets. RC and the guys kept it clean and classic with black tuxedos. The party was definitely crazy fun and we loved hanging out with them at the beautiful Orchid Garden on Church St. in downtown Orlando!
