Tuscan Serbian Wedding fusion for this Denver couple
September 9, 2018 at Bella Collina
Tradition and style surrounded this destination wedding for Denver couple Amanda and Vladimir – who fused the Tuscan feel at Bella Collina with some Serbian wedding traditions!
It started when Amanda was 12 and her brother broke her tooth with an umbrella. Fast forward a bit, as a newscaster in Jacksonville she met Vlad – who was the dentist fixing her tooth! As the story goes, she thought he was cute (but was slightly embarrassed that she spent their first “meeting” with him fixing her tooth). Vlad, on the other hand, decided to take a shot and send her an email… which she never responded too. Oops.
A bit later, they ran into each other at a restaurant, and have been virtually inseparable ever since! Amanda and Vlad moved out to Denver, where she’s pursuing her career as a broadcast journalist and him as a dentist. They actually bought an Alpaca farm, which they’re currently renovating and hoping to one day turn in to a wedding venue! Originally planning a Denver wedding, they decided to move it to beautiful Bella Collina so more friends and family could attend.
From across the country (as far as Serbia), Vladimir and Amanda’s friends and family joined us in Montverde, FL to celebrate their incredible wedding day. And although we have so much more to share (including how I got to know this sweet couple), it will have to wait for their full post. For now, enjoy a few teasers of their wedding!
