New Year’s Eve Wedding
December 31, 2015 // We rang in the New Year with Kyle, Meghan, and 200 of their closest friends and family for an epic party soiree at the Ritzy JW Marriott Hotel in Orlando, and it was a complete dream! It’s no surprise Meghan and Kyle decided to have a New Years Eve wedding, considering that’s the night that they met in 2007! The twist is that they met when Meghan crashed his parent’s party with a friend. Kyle and Meghan ended up hitting it off, and spent the night in fuzzy christmas pajamas playing ring of fire until he just had to fall in love with her snowman printed pants. When it came to the honeymoon, the couple choose something a bit more romantic and cultural, which is why they decided on Italy!
Meghan wore a glamorous Rivini gown that truly captured the glitz and glamour of the entire day. I also fell in love with the dusty blue bridesmaid gowns that were timeless with a modern twist of color! Their ceremony space was truly one for the books. The floral arch was to die for and I loved the clear chiavari chairs. There was a wonderland feel to the night with a white and silver color scheme. The couple’s wedding song is pretty untraditional, but Megan explains that if you really know the couple the song choice makes complete sense. Meghan has been a fan of Bruce Springsteen since as far back as she can remember, and she has brought Kyle alongside her to a ton of his concerts. They knew they wanted a song that was unique, but that also was close to their hearts. After much debate, they agreed on a live performance from 1975 of “Thunder Road” that had been slowed down a bit. The second song that was special this night was the song Meghan chose to surprise her father with. The song is called “Daddy’s Little Pumpkin,” which he used to play for her when she was younger. And of course the celebration wasn’t complete without a countdown to midnight and confetti poppers!
