Amy and Andrew | Sneak Peek
May 18, 2019 at Casa Feliz, Winter Park FL
We are so excited to share Andrew and Amy’s fiesta-inspired wedding at Casa Feliz!
After their first meeting at a popular Mexican restaurant in Texas, Amy and Andrew found a comfortable excitement in each other. They say they’re the type of couple who can’t sit still – enjoying traveling, activities, new restaurants and staycations around Texas. They also love playing with Andrew’s English Bulldog, Ruca!
The morning of the proposal, Amy said, “We woke up that morning, had our usual coffee in bed, played with his bulldog, sang to Sublime while we got ready. It was totally normal.” But hours later, Andrew would propose in front of a fountain in the museum district of Houston.
“I think my first response was, ‘is this a joke?
!’”, Amy recalls. They spent the rest of the day celebrating with friends and family… and Ruca!
Their Wedding Day at Casa Feliz
Amy was inspired by our “Vision of Veracruz” styled shoot and enlisted the help of the same vendors to make her wedding dreams come true! From the bright florals to the historic Spanish style of Casa Feliz, we love how they transformed this quiet area of Winter Park to a colorful party!
They really stepped out of the box bringing in bright, radiant, summer colors to historic Winter Park, FL! Amy’s bridesmaids each wore a bold statement earring which ties perfectly with her bright bouquet by Raining Roses.
The Raining Roses team never cease to amaze us and always go above and beyond. I still can’t get over the gorgeous paper backdrop they created – which was handmade using specialty crepe paper from Mexico.
