Biltmore Wedding in Miami, FL
June 20, 2015 | Dominique and Mihael
Dominique and Mihael had a beautiful wedding inspired by the 1920’s feel of the famous Biltmore Hotel in Miami, Fl. Without a doubt, a Biltmore wedding is synonomous with elegance, class and style. Mihael, who hails from Austria, met his Colombian sweetheart, Dominique, when he came to work as a medical student at Tampa General. Dominque’s boss introduced them, and it became the perfect match!
Their multi-cultural wedding was an amazing combination of both of their backgrounds. They shared their first dance with a traditional Austrian Waltz, followed with some latin Salsa music! Their reception space was a stunning mixture of candlelight, gold and orchids. It was absolutely beautiful and it was perfect for their families and friends to celebrate!
Having a traditional Catholic wedding was important to Dominique and Mihael – so they chose the beautiful setting of Church of the Little Flower in Miami to say ‘I Do’. It’s such a fun part of my job to experience different cultures and religions – and I loved the setting of their ceremony venue.
Their non-traditional wedding party was a mix of girls and guys – with the girls selecting mint green for the bride’s side, and the girls on the groom’s side selecting a rich plum color. But one of my favorite details was the card they wrote notes on. They chose one Biltmore postcard from the room. Dominique wrote a note to Mihael, and he wrote back on the back of the card. It was super sweet and something I’m sure they’ll treasure all the days of their marriage!
