Kelsie and Justin got married at the Dr. Phillips Center in downtown Orlando last year. The couple wanted to have an anniversary photoshoot to celebrate their one year anniversary! I’ve know Kelsie through our wonderful world of wedding vendors for a bit – so it was really an honor when she asked me to photograph their anniversary session!
I’m a big fan of celebrating anniversaries (especially recently – the current state of the world makes any celebration worthwhile!) Kelsie had Lea Montes do her hair and makeup, got to put on her wedding dress and carried a beautiful spring bouquet! Justin wore a striking blue suit and boutonniere to match Kelsie’s bouquet.
In talking about locations, we were excited to stop by some of their favorite spots – including their wedding venue, The Dr. Phillips Center. So we started the day at Hannibal Square in Winter Park to enjoy some of the beautiful ivy walls before heading downtown to DPAC.
The rooftop overlooking downtown Orlando is one of my favorite spots to shoot, but we also made sure to do some more modern “flash” shots outside behind the venue!
