This is almost the last keeping up with KWP post for the year!! Over the last few month’s I have enjoyed writing these posts and blogging the wonderful sessions Kristen has had from the time I started working here. I’ll be finishing out our 2015 posts next week with our last 2 weddings and one newborn session from the last couple days of the year. Meanwhile, we’re already hard at work delivering our winter weddings to our happy clients, and launching some exciting new projects for 2016!
December 4: Jaycelle’s Twins are 1
Jaycelle found me through another twin-mommy-client, Pamela! I was so excited to meet her sweet babies and took some adorable snapchats during our shoot! Happy birthday to these beautiful little faces!
December 5: Caitlin and Sean’s Stingray Chevrolet Wedding
Super first-time shooting a wedding at a car dealership – but holy cow did they make this the event of a lifetime! Bringing in a killer squad of vendors, like Blush by Brandee Gaar, Signature Chandeliers and Kaleidoscope Lighting – Caitlin and Sean had the most perfectly different venue for their winter wedding day!
December 9: Lola Grace Newborn Session
I’ve been photographing Kristen’s family since she was pregnant with Madison (who is now a threenager!), so I was ecstatic to meet their newest baby girl, Lola Grace!
December 9: Kennedy is one!!
Meagan and Matt hired me back when Meagan was pregnant with Kennedy and I got to meet this beautiful family and their sweet pup, Austin! I can’t believe Kennedy is already a year old – and we had a perfect cake-smash to prove it – tulle skirt, crown and all!
December 10: D’Anna and Daniel’s Engagement Session
Bless their sweet hearts – D’anna and Daniel are one of my favorite couples and they managed to get me on one of my worst days. I pretty much cried the entire 2 hour drive to their shoot at the Ringling Museum in Sarasota after spending the entire morning realizing Baby Kitten (my cat, yes, that’s his actual name) had escaped the night before. They helped me take my mind off everything, and we shared a delicious dinner after the shoot. Perfect fuel for sleeping on my front porch until we found him around 4am!
December 12: Kim and Kevin’s Orlando Sheraton Hotel Wedding
Wrapping up our pre-Christmas winter weddings was this stunner at the Orlando Sheraton hotel! Kim and Kevin had one of the most beautiful days and gave us so much time to photograph them. It really rejuvenated my love for bride and groom portraits since we weren’t rushed! We even got some relaxed time for them to enjoy a few cocktails. Huge thanks to Solutions Bridal Designer House, Tears of Joy Seamstress and Jim Hjelm for Kim’s amazing wedding gown!
December 14: Rochelle and Adam’s Bok Tower Garden Engagement Session
Gabe and I drove out to Bok Tower Gardens for Rochelle and Adam’s beautiful engagement session! I asked them the significance of shooting at Bok, and their response? We just like towers. Seriously – it was that simple! A few dolphin noises later, we had some gorgeous shots for their invitations and wedding website!
