Fall Wedding Palettes
Kristen had some really beautiful weddings these last few weeks with rich fall wedding palettes. I love how these fall weddings have not been your average fall wedding colors! Our warm Florida weather allows couples to have beautiful outdoor weddings in November!! This week’s weddings have consisted of fall color palettes of a pastel pink and cranberry, navy with touches of oranges and reds and other wild flowers, there was also a gorgeous beige and light pink wedding and then a pretty navy and blush color wedding. With holidays approaching we have also had some fun portrait sessions. Kristen photographed fellow photographer and friend Stephanie Dishman and her family, and high school senior Natalie (our mermaid) we called her (you’ll see why when you see her beautiful photos on the beach). Past clients, Ashley and Marc, were celebrating their adorable daughter Avery’s first birthday, who Kristen has been photographing since she was in her mom’s belly!
October 24: Nick and Stephen’s Orchid Garden Wedding
Nick and Stephen have some serious style. Gabe and I met them at ALoft in Downtown Orlando where we started off the day with their amazing wedding party! Although they got ready in separate rooms, they met up in the lobby for their photos and so we could all walk to Orchid Garden together. We particularly loved their rustic fall style, with deep navy blues and bright florals. They were seated at barn tables with copper Mr. and Mr. mugs, and danced all night to an amazing mix of music!
October 29: Betsy’s Mead Garden Bridal Session
We couldn’t share sneak peeks from Betsy’s session until after her wedding, but we’re so glad to show them now! Betsy’s fiance Michael surprised her with a bridal session because he knew how much she loved her Rivini gown from Solutions Bridal. We chose Mead Gardens for the shoot, and we had a beautiful canvas made for her cocktail hour!
October 30: Avery’s first Birthday Session
I seriously can’t believe Avery is already one! I have no idea where the time goes – but it was just last Halloween that I was celebrating her birth with parents Ashley and Marc, and her new big brother, Tebow! I can’t even tell you how much they light up at Avery’s giggles and stealthy “touchdown” moves!
November 1: Olivia and Steven’s Bella Collina Wedding
Fall palettes have been especially prominent this season – but I love the mix with the soft blushes we typically see, and then the deep marsala colors! It’s such a beautiful contrast – done perfectly by Olivia and Steven. This was absolutely a dream to photograph! Back when I shot Steven’s surprise proposal to Olivia, I knew they would put together the perfect wedding day style. From her Lazaro gown to the lush greenery, it all pulled together beautifully!
November 2: Natalie’s Jetty Park Senior Session
When I first met Natalie and her mom, they described her as a “free spirit” and she was instantly drawn to my beach sessions. When we met up, I raved over her gorgeous wind-blown hair (which she proudly mentioned is totally natural) and her genuine smile. This little dancer is graduating on to bigger and brighter things and I can’t wait to see how she takes the world by storm! We love our little Mermaid!
November 5: Dishman Family Portrait Session
It was kind of a fluke that I met Stephanie through the photography industry a year ago – but from our first wedding she shot with me, I knew we’d be lifers. She’s like the more sensible version of me – my rock – who understands my affinity for Facebook Messaging those stupid cat stickers and doesn’t think I’m silly for not understanding Star Wars. I’ve met her family before, but their beach session family portraits are some of my favorites – even if Miles hated it. Oh, 5 year olds.
November 6: Lisa and Peter’s Bella Collina Wedding
If you follow me on Facebook, you were likely one of the first to see this beautiful wedding from my month-long stay at Bella Collina (just kidding – but I was there a lot in November)! I got to work with some of my favorite vendors, and Lisa and Pete had such a laid back, fun day! Everything had such an energy that day… bridal party, family, the team – it was an awesome reminder of why I love shooting weddings!
November 7: Betsy and Michael’s Isleworth Golf and Country Club Wedding
When a family becomes like family – it’s pretty much the best. When Anna’s sister, Betsy, got engaged, I was beyond excited that they asked me to be part of their wedding. After their engagement session, I was invited to join them for dinner at their parent’s house – that’s when you know you have great clients. Betsy and Michael had such a beautiful day! I loved their romantic, soft style and the way they transformed a tent at Isleworth in to a secret garden hideaway.
