A modern editorial Alfond wedding that will charm any indoor bride

As the KWP team grows, I’m excited to provide the opportunity for each of them to showcase their own unique styles and ideas. I was excited for Gabby to start planning this gorgeous shoot to showcase her talents. She planned this modern editorial shoot inspired by an Alfond wedding – perfect for indoor brides!

Gabby has been my right-hand for many years in the studio. Incorporating Gabby’s love for photography and fashion – we decided to bring her on to the KWP Masters team! Now, our couples can benefit from her talent and style!

To share a bit about her photography, Gabby is drawn to candids, editorial, and fashionable styling. She’s always staying current on new trends, following the masters of documentary photography, and focusing on natural direction and interaction between her couples.

In planning this inspiration shoot, we wanted to primarily keep our focus indoors. Florida is hot, humid, and often rainy this time of year – which lends itself perfectly to the open space and gorgeous light at The Alfond Inn.

An Indoor Alfond Wedding

Silk and Sabal helped with the logistics and planning. The stationery by Do Tell Calligraphy and Designs was chosen to match the overall aesthetic of the day. Looking at a color story, they chose latte, ivory, and rosè. They were incorporated throughout the details and especially the gorgeous ‘His and Hers’ champagne wall!

Our female models, Hedy and Leah, wore some of our favorite current gowns and accessories provided by The Bridal Finery. The gowns were done by Ines Di Santos, and the fabulous blazer dress is from girl and a serious dream.

We started with a fresh getting-ready space (complete with champagne and silk bridal chemise)! Hedy wore Bella Belle Shoes in the style Edna (there’s also a lower heel version!) Their hair and makeup matched the overall vibe. All of the models had their hair and makeup was done by the amazing Dorka Jones.

Patina and Petals created a number of beautiful arrangements that were multi-functional. We love when pieces are repurposed from ceremony to reception, so we wanted to show how that can be achieved!

We are all so grateful to our amazing vendors who worked graciously to complete this shoot. Which included fun hallway photos, champagne towers, and a gorgeous balcony that looked over downtown Winter Park, Florida. She was able to showcase that you can still have beautiful and fun photos inside, especially if you have an Alfond Wedding.
