KWP Holiday Party 2017
The annual KWP Holiday Party is a big deal for our interns every year! They are spoiled with gifts in their stockings, lots of yummy treats and getting to decorate the office. This year we had some extra additions: I was fostering 4 amazing kittens through The Pixel Fund! Putting up a tree and decorations with 4 tiny fuzzballs running around was a bit interesting!
My favorite part is having each intern bring an ornament that best represents them. Each year, the current interns decorate the tree with all the past interns’ ornaments! It’s kind of like a right of passage for them! They sign their ornament and we have a little “show and tell” where they explain why they chose that particular one to hang up. Gabby went for a homemade one (kindergarten style – it included a photo of her face!
), while Makayla chose a taco (her signature meal). Kaila opted for a shiny pink pineapple, and Malik selected Harry Potter!
After the stockings were open, we chat about some business and then they each got to make an ugly sweater!
We snapped some photos to see whose stayed together the best, and then some fun pics in their PJs! They’re even starting to have “signature Piglet poses”!
This year was the first year that the program ends in December, so it was a fun farewell for these guys – and a nice break from finals and their final “styled shoot” projects (stay tuned for those shoots and the recap of their experience in the KWP Internship program!)

This year we designed a custom logo and tank top for the interns!
The logo was created by Adrien Marie Design, and the tanks were from CustomInk!
