We have just met with Alexis from Modern Muse Agency and are incredibly excited to collaborate with them on a project next month! The agency is looking for the top fashion faces, actors, and print commercial models to join their amazing team.
With this, they will be hosting an Instagram competition which could land you at a closed casting.
There will also be an opening casting on the same day, both of which will be held here at the Kristen Weaver Photography studio.
The Muse Look
Modern Muse is looking for undiscovered talent, so don’t feel intimidated if you have never modeled before. This is the best opportunity for you to jump into something new!
For commercial and lifestyle models, they’re searching for the freshest faces in the Central Florida area. Personality and charisma are two characteristics that are an absolute must! Commercial models are open age and height, as long as you are 14 years or older.
If you’re looking for fashion, there are a couple requirements. For women, they are looking for 5’7″ and above, and men who are 6’0″. The age group for this category is 14-23 years.
Instagram Competition #CastMeMuse
There will be a hashtag competition on Instagram prior to the casting. The competition will start March 20th until March 31st. This is a chance for Modern Muse to see as much of the real you before the casting, so be sure to keep it filter-less and use your best natural photo.
There will be five winners chosen from this contest. This competition does not come empty handed; five winners will be chosen and have a priority viewing at a closed casting. This will be a chance for not only you to get to know Modern Muse, but for the agency to get to know you. You will also have time for one-on-ones with experienced Muse models, including the wonderful Ariana who just got back from shooting in Greece, with tips on how to interview, runway walk advice, and any other modeling words of wisdom. There will also be live online video footage that showcase your personality with a short interview!

Choosing the Finalists
The five finalists will be chosen by Modern Muse. These are men and women who they feel would best represent their agency and clients. Comments and likes will push you to the top of the queue, so be sure to mention the competition to all of your friends!

Casting Details
On the day of the casting, there will be a videographer as well as live footage of the entire process on Periscope. While at the casting, you will be asked to show your walk, as well as take a few digital photos.

Model Requirements:
Women: Solid-colored swimsuit, heels, and minimal makeup
Men: Fitted swim suit
If you are under 18 years of age, be sure to bring your legal guardian. While a portfolio is not required, be sure to bring yours if you have one.
